Book diary: The Fault in our Stars

The Fault in our Stars
John Green

The first book I read and finished at the same time. Yes, it's a first.

I never imagined I can do this since I'm not really a fan of reading. It bores me every time I read books without pictures. Gusto ko may picture para naiimagine ko kagad yung ngyayari. Hahaha!

Until this year, I accepted the challenge and included it in my 2014 New year's resolution. I started reading this book when my friend Merie told me that its a good read and its movie trailer just came out. Finished it for only three days. Ganon ako ka-hooked. Hahaha!

The story of the book was very tragic yet funny. I'm literally smiling and almost crying while reading it.

Sharing you some of my favorite lines in the book below:

Oh, I wouldn't mind, Hazel Grace. It would be a privilege to have my heart broken by you. - Agustus Waters

The world is not a wish-granting factory - Hazel Grace

Some tourists think Amsterdam is a city of sin, but in truth it is a city of freedom. And in freedom, most people find sin. - Cab driver

I'll fight it. I'll fight it for you. Don't you worry about me, Hazel Grace. I'm okay. I'll find a way to hang around and annoy you for a long time. - Agustus Waters

Maybe 'okay' will be our 'always' - Hazel Grace

Watch the movie trailer below after reading it.

So there, to read one book per month is my new goal this year. Any book recommendations?
