Food diary: Balkan, Yugoslavian Home cooking

Last Thursday, after all the monthend stress the team decided to have dinner and celebrate at Balkan, a Yugoslavian restaurant in Makati city. It was one of the favorite restaurant of my boss so we were really curious what was this restaurant has to offer.

I personally love the place. The moment I stepped in in the restaurant, cant help but take pictures of its every corner. I also love their music because its different from the others.

We were also very interested in the history of Yugoslavia that made us want to go there and explore. You can read a little about it at the back of their menu.

Cevapcici burger
(number 13) Php 230.00
The signature Serbian dish made from ground beef served with fries

Stuffed chicken batak
(number 20) Php 330.00
Boneless chicken thigh stuffed with smoked salami, mushroom and cheese served with rice or fries

Stuffed pljeskavica
(number 18) Php 330.00
Ground beef steak stuffed with mozzarella, served with rice or fries

The food was great and huge. Most of us ordered number 18 and 20 and we all loved it. The beef and chicken was very juicy plus the cheese. So yummy. Definitely one and only the best yugoslavian restaurant in the Philippines.
