Candy DIY book launch

So apparently being more crafty is one of my 2014 New Year's Resolutions (I also talked about my resolutions here and here) I wanted to document all the important things that are happening to me in the form of arts and pictures so reading this book will help me a lot to do it.

Being a self-admitted craft addict, I wanted to have this book ever since it was released. Good thing friend Merie and I shared the same interest in craft so when I found out that they will be having a craft party and book signing, I immediately asked her to be my date.

Book signed by the crafters.

Let me share you what happened in the event. The venue was at Fullybooked High Street. We were so happy because it's near our workplace.

The place was packed with kids and artsy people.

Another thing that I love in the event was the Art stations. Imagine, all the below activities are for free? How cool is that?

The first craft we did was making a pom in the Pompom station. In just 10mins you can make these cute little pompoms. You can learn how to make a pom in the book by the way.
Second station was the Stamping station. Rubber stamps are hard to use because it's a bit messy yet we still enjoyed it.
And the last and my favorite section, the Washi station. Washi overload! Wee! Can you spot the washi tapes in the picture? Aaaah so happy.
Here's our final product. Hahaha!
There were free food at the event c/o Pipino.

Of course, photo op with the authors and my favorite crafters.
And the last photo is Me and my new found "crafty" friend. Hihi! Thank you for coming with me Merie. :)
