Candy DIY book launch

So apparently being more crafty is one of my 2014 New Year's Resolutions (I also talked about my resolutions here and here) I wanted to document all the important things that are happening to me in the form of arts and pictures so reading this book will help me a lot to do it.

Being a self-admitted craft addict, I wanted to have this book ever since it was released. Good thing friend Merie and I shared the same interest in craft so when I found out that they will be having a craft party and book signing, I immediately asked her to be my date.

Book signed by the crafters.

Let me share you what happened in the event. The venue was at Fullybooked High Street. We were so happy because it's near our workplace.

The place was packed with kids and artsy people.

Another thing that I love in the event was the Art stations. Imagine, all the below activities are for free? How cool is that?

The first craft we did was making a pom in the Pompom station. In just 10mins you can make these cute little pompoms. You can learn how to make a pom in the book by the way.
Second station was the Stamping station. Rubber stamps are hard to use because it's a bit messy yet we still enjoyed it.
And the last and my favorite section, the Washi station. Washi overload! Wee! Can you spot the washi tapes in the picture? Aaaah so happy.
Here's our final product. Hahaha!
There were free food at the event c/o Pipino.

Of course, photo op with the authors and my favorite crafters.
And the last photo is Me and my new found "crafty" friend. Hihi! Thank you for coming with me Merie. :)

Style diary: Cream cropped

This was basically one of my favorite looks to date.
First reason is that I'm wearing my favorite skirt, you'll see me wearing this almost every week. Hahaha!
Secondly, because I'm wearing one of my favorite design from our latest collection, this Cream cropped top. I'm in love with this top, I can wear this with any bottom that I would want to and is so easy to style.
And lastly, I'm wearing my first ever Posh bride. Wee! Posh Pocket shoes has been my style staple ever since. Their shoes are very stylish and comfortable. So happy they also have sandals now.

This was my outfit last Friday on the first day of the Heat Wave summer bazaar. :)

This top is also available in three other colors, pink, peach and mint. If you want to order, please leave a comment here or message us in our Facebook page

Movie Diary: Love, Fashion and Suspense

If last month was solely about love, this month was also dedicated to fashion and suspense, hence the title. Hahaha!

D and I love watching movies together and since he was assigned in Bacolod, we rarely have time to go on movie dates. Last month, he came home to Manila one weekend and we were able to squeeze on a movie date. It's been a while, so just imagine how happy i was.

How can you not love this guy? Haha!

A bit bitin specially the love story. However, I appreciate the beauty of Alaska.

One of our assignment in school was to watch this movie. Can't believe there's a difference when I watched the movie before and today.

This movie was awesome. Hahaha! I love the twist.

The movie D and I watched when he was here in Manila. Ang masasabi ko lang, hindi ako makahinga sa kaba. Hahaha!

Thank you March

Oh well, March has been a roller coaster ride for me. This month, I started going to fashion school which I'm really enjoying, got super busy with work and so many unexpected things happened. Never been this stressed for the longest time. Maybe a bit early for drama but I'm glad this month ended just right. As a summary, I'm still thankful for all the things happened to me this first quarter of the year.

Dinner/Bookstore date with one of my girlfriend.

Legit fashion design student.

Passed by the dessert place in Glorietta and bought this yummy cupcake.

My love is in Manila so I brought him here. I'm glad he liked the food.

Another drawing sesh/kwentuhan with Merie.

First time to attend a book signing event.

Uhm, around 2am in the morning.

Lunch date with my closest frienemy in the office! Haha!

Busy day at school.

Quick lunch date with Merie at Shine in SM Aura. Love this Umami fries. Wee!

Lenny's birthday celebration. :)

So where did first quarter of the year go? That was very fast! Hahaha!
