Movie diary: Current at last

Finally! A list of the current movies I watched lately. 
As I've said in my previous post, May was full of fun and happiness. Aside from the list of what I've done, I had also the chance to watch most of the current movies with my loved ones. 

The Spider man movie I watched with a heartwarming as well as heartbreaking love story. Peter and Gwen is just so perfect for each other.

A must watch. Haha! This is not an ordinary "other woman" movie. Sobrang nakakatawa to! Pantanggal stress talaga!

Watched X-Men with my family. 

Who doesn't love disney movies? Well apparently, this movie is not a story about a disney princess.

My entries in Ensembles: Wear my design contest

I heard about the contest through my friend Merie who was one of the lucky winners of Ensemble: Wear my design contest last year. She and her boyfriend Luke who's my friend also encouraged me to join. I almost didn't push through due to some unfortunate events these past few months. I guess God made a way for me to find time and join. 

Today I'm sharing you my 3 entries below and the story behind every design.

 "New Day"

As spring comes after winter, as rainbow shows up after the rain. This dress symbolizes life after all the problems that comes along your way. My inspiration for this design is my grandmother who passed away this year. She is my number one supporter in everything I do and now that she’s gone, I still want to continue what she wants me to be. Even if she’s no longer here to see me do the things I love, it’s a new journey, a new beginning, a new day for me.

 "Simply Black"

I find this dress simple yet perfect for everyday life. This little black dress is one of every woman’s style staple. I added a hint of white and green to represent the spring color. I believe that wearing this will always make you look like a sophisticated woman.

"Sweet Dreams"

Every girl’s dream is to own a perfect dress that can be used on special occasions. This dreamy dress is perfect from a day of shopping with friends to a date night with her guy. The drapes of the dress made it more special and its lime color simply represent spring.

Summer May

It's a bit late for my monthly post, but May has been good to me so I'd rather post it late than not to post it at all.

We all love summer, aren't we? That's why I made the most out of it in any possible way. Had time for a haircut, bonding with family, catch up with friends and a summer getaway with my love. I guess that sums up all good things happened to me this year's summer.

Ensembles: Wear my design contest Year 3

I'm one of those hopeful fashion designers out there that joined in the Ensembles: Wear my design contest Year 3. This year they will be choosing 5 dresses for their Spring Collection 2015 with two categories, Soft and Tailored. Winners will be judged according to the following criteria: 30% for Originality/Creativity, 30% for Wearability, 20% Brand Relevance and 20% app votes for a total of 100%. So, I would like to ask a little favor, please support and vote for my 3 entries.

School Diaries: Some sketches

Sharing you some of the sketches I drew on the spot in school. I swear, sketching is not easy. One needs a lot of patience especially in using watercolor. Haha! I struggled the most in sketching the hair, but I guess practice makes perfect. I'm not saying mine was perfect though. Please don't judge my work, I'm still a newbie. Hahaha!

After a month of rest, tomorrow I'll be back at school. Sem break is over and I'm not yet ready physically (since monthend at work is really draining) and mentally. I need my creativity back. Whew.
